Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement

21+ years of certified Dynamics experience, on every kind of engagement I've ever seen.

I've been architecting and building on Microsoft's CRM platform since before it was called Dynamics — through every major version, every deployment model, and every kind of client from federal agencies to Fortune 500 healthcare. If your D365 CE work needs a senior architect who will write the design and write the code, that's what I do.

What I do

Five areas. Most engagements touch more than one.

New implementations

Greenfield D365 CE implementations from requirements through go-live: solution design, data model, security, process automation, integrations, UAT, and cutover. I come in at the architecture layer and stay through delivery, because design decisions that look clean on a whiteboard fail silently in production when the person who made them isn't around to defend them.

Migrations and version upgrades

On-premises to online migrations. Legacy-version upgrades where the solution has accumulated a decade of customization. Plan the data migration, refactor the customizations that won't survive the move, retire the ones that shouldn't survive at all, and get you to a supported version you can actually keep current.

Architecture and solution design

Solution architecture reviews, design authority on partner-led engagements, and scoped design work for teams that have the delivery capacity but need senior Dynamics judgment on the hard decisions: security model, integration patterns, customization strategy, licensing fit, performance.

Complex customizations

Plug-ins, custom workflow activities, PCF controls, JavaScript web resources, and Power Automate cloud flows. I write these myself and I review them for teams that want a second pair of eyes before the change hits production. The goal on every customization is the same: do the minimum necessary, in the most supported way possible, so the next person who touches it can understand what I did and why.

Integrations

Azure Service Bus, third-party CRMs, call center platforms, ERP systems, and the miscellaneous line-of-business applications every client has three of. I design integration patterns that are durable under load and debuggable at three in the morning. Performance analysis, data migration, and implementation validation sit here too — the work that happens before and after a cutover to make sure the system is actually doing what it was built to do.
