Privacy notice

Who this notice covers

BJ Unlimited LLC is a Microsoft consultancy led by Principal Architect Jerold Billings. This notice applies to the public website at bjunlimited.com and to information you send me through the intake forms on the Contact and Copilot Readiness Assessment pages. It does not cover information handled under a separate, signed client engagement — that is governed by the statement of work and any associated data-handling agreement.

What I collect, and when

The only information I collect through the website is what you voluntarily submit through an intake form. That includes your name, company, role, work email, optional phone number, the Microsoft products you're running, the problem you're trying to solve, your timeline, and how you heard about the practice.

The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate traffic measurement. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies or cross-site tracking, and the data I see is aggregated — I cannot identify individual visitors from it. That is why the site does not show a cookie banner.

The site does set one small local preference in your browser: your chosen dark-mode or light-mode theme, stored under the key bj-theme. This value never leaves your browser.

What I use it for

Intake form submissions are used to respond to your inquiry and to prepare for the initial consultation. If you do not become a client, your submission is kept only as long as it is useful to decline politely or refer you elsewhere. If you become a client, the information moves into the engagement record governed by our statement of work.

Aggregate analytics data is used to understand which pages visitors find and where the site needs to be clearer. It is not shared with third parties for advertising.

What I don't do

• I do not sell your information.
• I do not share your information with third-party advertisers or data brokers.
• I do not set advertising cookies or run retargeting pixels.
• I do not subscribe you to marketing email. If I ever send a newsletter, it will be explicitly opt-in.

Who else sees the information

Three service providers process data on my behalf to run the site and handle inquiries:

• Cloudflare hosts the site and routes your form submission to the function that emails me. Cloudflare acts as a processor; their terms for Pages and Workers govern that relationship.
• The outbound email provider (to be named once Deliverable 5 lands — Resend, MailChannels, or a Worker alternative) delivers the email to my inbox. It handles the message in transit; it does not use the content for any other purpose.
• My email provider is where the inquiry arrives and is read by me. No one else at BJ Unlimited has access — there is no one else.

How long I keep it

Form submissions and the email correspondence that follows are retained for up to 24 months unless the engagement continues and a longer retention is governed by our contract. You can ask me to delete your submission at any time by emailing jerold@bjunlimited.com.

Your rights

You can ask me to confirm what information I hold on you, to correct it, to delete it, or to send you a copy. Email jerold@bjunlimited.com and I will respond within 30 days. If you are in a jurisdiction that extends specific rights under GDPR, CCPA, or an equivalent law, those rights apply on top of what this notice describes.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS. Form submissions travel over TLS between your browser and Cloudflare. I do not store sensitive personal information — the intake form does not ask for it, and I will tell you if we're about to exchange anything that qualifies. Client data shared during an engagement is governed by the data-handling terms of our statement of work, not by this notice.

Children

This is a B2B consulting site. It is not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this notice

If I change anything meaningful, I update the "last updated" date at the top of this page and, for substantive changes, email active clients directly. A revision history is available on request.
